Iron City Hoops will offer an in-house Sunday Summer Basketball Program for 4th through 12th Grade boys and girls. The games/skills will take place at Mountain Brook High School, Samford, Dolly Ridge Elementary, and Irondale Community School on Saturdays & Sundays. The plan is to have a 4th/5th, Middle School, and a high school division for both boys and girls. The ability to have a grade division will be dependent on the number of players registered for those grade levels and please know we may need to alter grade participation based on registration numbers.
Elementary and Middle School divisions will have two options. For $230, you player can participate in a skills/league combo where they receive a skills session included with your practice/game session. With this option your player will participate in 5 skills trainings and 5 games. Families can also choose to play games only. This options is $130 for the 5 games.
All divisions will play Camp-style games of 16 minute running clock halves. Players will participate in 5 games. Teams will play half court man-to-man defense. Each game session begins with a 15 minute practice and then teams will move into game play. Teams will have a max of 10 players. Each grade division will have a max of 4 teams. Iron City Hoops will provide coaches to oversee the games and referees. This league will run in the same format of our Spring, Fall, and Winter leagues.

July 31st
All Girls League games and skills will be at Mountain Brook High School. It is located at 3650 Bethune Drive. Boys games will be at Samford. Skills trainings will be held at Samford, Vestavia Hills Elementary at Dolly Ridge, or Irondale Community School.
Cost for the Elementary/Middle/High School Summer League games only option which will be the eval session and 5 games is $130. Cost for the Elementary and Middle School combo option which will have 5 games, 1 evaluation, and 5 skills sessions will be $230.
