Iron City Hoops will offer an in-house Sunday Spring Basketball League for 4th through 12th Grade boys and girls. The games will take place at Mountain Brook Junior High on Sunday afternoons from 2:00-6:00 pm. The plan is to have a 4th/5th, Middle School, and a high school division for both boys and girls. The ability to have a grade division will be dependent on the number of players registered for those grade levels. Please .know we may need to alter grade participation based on registration numbers.
Elementary and Middle School divisions will have the option of a 45 minutes skills session prior to your practice and game. This is part of our games/skills combo.
All divisions will play Camp-style games of 16 minute running clock halves. Players will participate in one evaluation session and 5 games. Teams will play half court man-to-man defense. Each Sunday begins with a 15 minute practice and then teams will move into game play. Teams will have a max of 10 players. Each grade division will have a max of 4 teams. Iron City Hoops will provide coaches to oversee the games and referees. This league will run in the same format of our Summer, Fall, and Winter leagues.
Program dates are the following Sundays:
February 26th - Evaluations
March 5th & 19th
April 2nd, 16th, & 30th
All games will be at Mountain Brook Junior High. It is located at 205 Overbrook Road.
Cost for the games-only option will be $130. Cost for the skills/games combo will be $230.
