Iron City Hoops will offer an in-house Sunday Fall Basketball League for upcoming 5th through 12th Grade boys and girls. All games will be at Samford's Bashinsky Gym located in Seibert Hall. Sunday afternoon games will run from 2:00-6:00 pm. The plan is to have a 5th/6th, 7th/8th, and a high school divisions. The ability to have a grade division will be dependent on the number of players registered for those grade levels and please know we may need to alter grade particpation based on registration numbers.
You will play Camp-style games of 16 minute running clock halves. All age divisions will play 6 games. Each Sunday begins with a 15 minute practice and then teams will move into game play. Teams will have a max of 10 players. Each division will have a max of 4 teams. Iron City Hoops will provide coaches to oversee the games and referees. This league will run in the same format of our Spring, Summer, and Winter leagues.
Game dates are the following Sundays:
August 22nd & 29th
September 12th & 26th
October 3rd & 10th
Cost for the Fall League games-only will be $130.
We will offer a skills combo for our boys and girls players. Skills Sessions will tentatively be on the Saturdays prior to your Sunday games at Irondale Community School. Skills trainig will occur in the morning. Cost for the League/Skills Combo (6 games and 6 skills sessions) is only $200.
